Perhaps the biggest problem with Mindstorms is having only 3 sensor inputs. Using sensor inputs to control motor positioning is often a waste of valuable resource. Industrial automation has long used the concept of limit switches to control (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Am wondering if anyone has completed a robot using both an RCX and a PalmPilot configuration? What I mean is having the PalmPilot acting as the primary processing unit and the RCX to control the motors and as sensor inputs? Thanks, VOng (25 years ago, 13-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)
