(...) Just got the VC (couldn't wait for the RIS) :) It works great on my laptop, but on my main PC (with an ATI All-in-Wonder 128) the Lego Cam and the Vision Command software doesn't work because I think it tries to work with the first registered (...)   3800 Ultimate Builders Set - what is this?

Hi, in the new German 2001 catalog I found a reference to an apparently upcoming Mindstorms set: 3800 Ultimate Builders Set. It consists of "about 300pc, CD-ROM and a motor" and is "available only through the internet". However, subsequent search on (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Use for Bad Lego Motor

Talk to LEGO, they are very understanding about this. They swapped 3 dead motors out for me, and two of them were at least 18 months old. I couldn't even remember what sets they came in, let alone packaged. Regards, Dave. -- patel wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Info on HP48 calculator and RCX working together?

Thank you for the information Shawn. I am dissapointed that the HP48 and RCX are not better suited to communicate together, but I am quite happy I learned this information the "easy" way. :) I might take this project on at some point in the future.   RCX/CM doc on reading sensors using Get Value <source> <argument>

I'm building my own Java code to drive the CM from my PC COM port. Now I have some testing/lab sw which reasonably reliably writes to and reads from the COM port, I got stuck at read sensor using the GetValue opcode 0x12. I can read the variables (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Where can I find a 6551 Electric Switch?

I'm trying to find a few (At least 1) 6551 Lego Electrical Switch. I saw two in an old Space Shuttle Technics kit. Lego's web site does not find it by part number. Anyone know where I could get some?
