This is a modestly easy task, if you use a telephone cord
untangler. I have "modified" a number of these to make 4 wire
rotating connections, typically for feeding through the large
turntable. By carefully cutting the metal part, you can turn
2x4 pieces of electric plating into a dual 2x2. My most recent
version is actually permanently glued in place in a turntable
with the dual 2x2 electric plating on top and bottom to provide
easy contact. I have used it to provide an outbound motor
connection and inbound sensor connection to build a fully
pannable (sp?) sensor platform.
The electric plating is readily available through shop-at-home. The
turntables came from pitsco at 2 for $10 and the cord untanglers
can be obtained from most grocery stores or from Radio Shack.
