I'm thinking about building a robot with three Scouts acting as slaves to a single RCX - nine motors and a dozen sensors in all! If you want the capability of plugging into wall power, you want a 9719 (plus, you might still be able to get a free upgrade kit even though the date has long since passed - it never hurts to call on these things).
