thanks jennifer, those threads help some, but i have put the whole idea behind me for the present and started working on the phased walking mechanism for the december challenge actually now that i saw more of the printout those writings helped lots (...) You might want to look for information on "QuadraSteer". That's a Delphi Saginaw product (my company) that will be coming out on full size trucks in the near future. It adds rear wheel steering to the truck. The wheels are in phase (both turn the (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

For driving straight you don't need a light sensor (but for accurate turning) It must work with two touchsensors that were touched from an arm placed on the "detector-wheel". Is there already any NQC code for *reading* VLL ? I've adapted the libvll.nqc to work *also* with direct connections (OUT port ->lego standard electrical wire-> IN port) using the Off() & Float() mainly for CyberMaster<->RCX comms [Note: By mistake, (...)
