Martin is right, the Handspring Visor uses a different connector than the Palm devices, and so they are not directly compatible cable-wise. You can get TTL level serial comms out of the Visor by hacking the USB cable they sell. Split open the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

The guy who does OmniRemote is a friend of mine (I had the springboard module before they were on the market, nyah nyah) :) and it was extremely non-trivial for him to support the IR, and it continues to be non-trivial to support (...)
