You can use NQC language in Scout, you can use touch and light sensor in Scout, I think it is better than RCX and similar with RCX2, except it only 2 input and output port and can't use rotation and temperature sensor. Zhengrong (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I hear that someone had done an intelligent navigation system (with path and motion planning) that can avoid hitting object by infer-red/ultrasonic sensors. I am very interested in this project. Could any one of you give me more information on that? (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I apologise if this has been discussed before ... but speaking of other languages ... What options do we have to do some real Java development for the RCX? I've never been compulsive enough (no offence anyone!) to inventory, but at 657 pieces it's 7.6 cents a piece, which in my book is a OK / good deal. Lot's of white.....I'm not sure I'd buy it just for parts, but if you had a RCX or a Scout and (...) (25 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Does anyone have an inventory of the 652 parts in the DDK? I looked over the obvious places on Lugnet to no avail. Is it worth it at $50? --Jack Gregory (25 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)
