I think RDS is the best to you, except touch sensor, you also can use external
light sensor in Scout, you can do most thing that RCX can do.
I don't know if you can write NQC program as you are so young, you can refer page
at http://go18.163.com/~legozang/creation/robots.html, there is a LightSeeker with
MLCad dat file and NQC file, you can use your RDS in that creation.
