Lego had pics of the RCX factory up on their site a year ago. The one pic they
showed showed about 100,000 bricks in boxes and whatnot. I think the number is
legit.
The number isn't used for anything other then the MS website. Most items around the
home have a serial number. That's the RCX's. The 1.5's (Which never got the number
changed to 1.5 DOH!) kept the same number from where the 1.0's left off. It's my
impression that the 2.0's will continue this number.

I'm sure they would just add a digit or a Letter.
There are a LOT of RCX's in the world. I own three myself.
Lugnet is what, about 2% (Total Guess) of the total English speaking Lego World?
