So, I've been coaching this FLL team for a while now, and also watching my 9 year old daughter's use of Mindstorms and Technic and a book idea has been forming in my head. sounds to me like you have a bad serial port on your computer, have you had the computer apart since this problem started? Did you perhaps bump a cable or connection. Borrow a laptop and try your cable and tower on it, maybe your plug and play (...) (25 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Here is me with my roving webcam bot. This weekend I made an improved version. I used WebCam32 for the webcam, my WebBrick program for robot control over IP, NQC code for motor control, IBM's cordless modem, a USB to serial converter to get the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics) !
