I tried this a little when I first made my robot using the red bat wings that come with the set, and I couldn't get a good image through one of them. One of the big problems is that the sensor is mostly infrared, with some red sensitivity. I haven't (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I'd strongly recommend the Code Pilot set. ((URL) 1,263 pieces, including TWO clutch gears, lots of other gears, a motor, two touch sensors, and cables. That a great idea. But how do you control the pressure, as it is pumping all the time. I suppose you could vent it until a minute before you intend to use the compressed air... I like the Roverbot because it moves slowly and has a lot of torque. (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)
