Im ahead of you there, I already did that :p. I need to add even more torque. The the current setup is this: worm to central 40pt gear, 40pt's axle is connected to one 8pt gear on either end and then after that a 16 (i think)on each end also. The (...) According to "The Art of LEGO Design" a worm gear is best used at high-speed, low-torque points in the drive train. In other words, drive the worm from the motor, then do any further gearing... Unless your normal gear train is trading torque for (...) (24 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)
