Some more thoughts on this... I recently talked to Lego customer service in
Germany about single parts ordering and they said they´d do it for special
purposes. But you have to pay a premium of about .25 to .5 $ per piece for
the manual handling. As at that time we only needed bricks it was cheaper
to get Basics sets. But I´d happily pay that premium on air tanks and
stuff... ;) Now we´d just have to convince them that it´s a special purpose!

Another thing, I´ve never had any pneumatics and would be very grateful if
I could get a list of "essentials", hopefully with parts numbers. If I had
that I´d try my luck with Lego Germany and see where it goes...

But what if I don't want or need pumps and blue tanks this month? And how many months will I wait till my favourite parts are featured? Why not if all people in this group go and think of what they want and make a wish list? For instance, I can make (...) (24 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)
