| | Hi I'm working at a method to transmit to a RCX that is not directly aligned with the IR-tower (say that the little robot with the RCX mounted on it can be anywhere in the range of 2-3 meters from the IR-transmitter). I want to use only IR (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Just build your RCX robot w/ the IR port pointing straight up at the ceiling and aim your IR (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | (...) On LOW power I've found the RCX hardly reads any signals at all. You must be very close to the tower/other RCX to read it. (V Cool) On HIGH though I can bounce the signal down the hall and it still reaches my bot. I'm only using the RCX codes (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
