| (...) I use a 9VDC 500mA AC Adapter with center negative polarity. According to Jonathan Knudsen in his book The Unofficial Guide to LEGO Mindstorms Robots, he states "You can supply power in either polarity, even AC, from 9V to 12V." (24 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) The 'official' supply, is 10V AC, 700mA. The input has a rectification bridge, so will accept AC, or DC in either polarity.
