Yes, Bert Van Dam's one of my "regular" LEGO-Robotics (and AI) site.
It's a great site  :)

Well, it's new and improved now :)))

I've seen "the real McCoy" *project*, and it's something along the lines of
what I thought of doing to connect a CyberMaster with other pBricks.
I'm not sure if he ever tried to build it, "the real McCoy".

No, I never built the real McCoy, but I did built the optocoupler. And that
works ok, though not very fast.

Then I thought "what if someone already tried to connect directly an OUTPUT
to an INPUT ?" ...if that's possible, then it would even "simpler" to do a
CyberMaster<->Mindstorms pBrick interface :)

No dice. I think we're all waiting for someone very rich or very brave. Or
very stupid :)

(...) As my other post mentioned, I've played briefly with it. I don't fall into the very rich category so I guess I'll leave it up to the reader to choose between the latter two options :) Zac (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)
