Anyone got a really good design for a bump sensor...
Gives all round coverage
Uses minimum number of sensors
Can absorb sufficient movement so the actual bots position is not disturbed
Built using standard RIS lego
Actually if anyone has any good ideas designs I would love to see them. I
have lots of bad ones....

| (...) I've made some decent ones using spring-loaded shock absorbers, connected to a sort of bulldozer-blade. This works really well, but doesn't fill all of your qualifications -- it doesn't give 360 degree coverage (pretty much front only, (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
