BTW, Your web page seems cool, and I would like to know
more about controling robots over internet, however,
the norwegian is a bit difficult for most of us. Have you
though about making an english version of your page?
(Of course, my first choice would be french, but then many
might complain the way I do now...)
Instead of sending byte kodes, why don't you use SPIRIT.ocx?
Since you seems to be using the standard firmware, this yould
be much more easier...
As of your program, I infere that you sended the packet
header, and that you computed the checksum correctly.
Also, you have to tell the length of the downloaded program.
If I am correct, this is the third byte after the opcode 25.
Here an extract from kekoa's page:
"byte unknown Always 0.
short task Task index. 0..9.
short length Task length.
Prepare the RCX for a download of task number task of the current program. Space
for length bytes is allocated in the memory map by moving other data as needed.
"
In your example below, the length seems zero. This is a little short...

| Hello. I am a student at faculty of engineering Oslo, Norway. I am trying to controll the RCX(I have made a lego car) over internett. I have a Java-interface to the RCX to send the bytekodes. I have tryed Kekoa Proudfoot instructions: Set program (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
