Hello folks,

I am working on a (very) simple controller that simply switches the power to
a motor on or off.  As a housing, I use the small 9V battery box, the one
with the grey switch.  I need to hook up six connectors, so I'll need to
isolate the 'electric' dots on top of the box.  Therefore, I need to create
a space every two 'electric' islands.  How can this best be done?  I've read
about people doing this with a simple knife, but aren't there any other
(more comfortable) ways to do this?

Since cutting up the electric plates at the inside only provides one contact
point, I need to replace six LEGO dots with brass ones.  Because I didn't
find a brass tube of 4.8 mm (the size of a Lego dot), I use one of 4 mm.
Now I wanted to know how to glue these tubes to the LEGO plastic; I know
there was a discussion about this some time ago, but that was about gluing
plastics to plastics.  I also heard that soldering a wire to the tubes
"melts" the plastic around them, but with me, It didn't work.

All Help would be appreciated,

Simon
