  HomeBrew Electric Cords?
 
With all the homemade sensors going around I's sure someone has come up with a good way to make your own electric cords right? or is everyone just hacking up existing cords? I need to make a fairly large batch (50 or so) and that would be some (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Cutting up electric plates is my favorite as well - you get a pretty robust "lego" connection for very litle cost. You just have to be careful while soldering not to deform the plastic. Dave Baum (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yes, preshaping the wire and pre 'tinning' the ends is best. You also must take care when cutting the plates that you don't splay it out. (Why lego doesn't make 2x2's!)
