Two comments for Garth (and others doing this) #1) You have 2 phase, bipolar *STEPPER* motors, not "servo" motors. The difference is quite significant if you were expecting a servo motor. hello everybody, iam new to this list so please bear with me if this topic has already been discussed. iam intersted in using sonar sensors to detect and avoid obstacles using IC commands. is it possible to use the handyboard without the expansion (...) (...) not easily. half of the lower 32k of the 6811 address space is consumed by the '138 circuit to generate 4 digital input and 4 digital output areas. it would be possible to have some kind of data memory area making use of the signals on the exp (...) Hi Sriram, To answer your question succinctly, yes you can use the sonar modules on the Handy Board without the expansion board.
