(...) The sensor itself returns only cm values. To use inches just multiply the result by 100 and divide by 254 (1 inch = 2.54 cm, but since we are dealing with integers we use 1/2.54 = 100/254) Philo (16 years ago, 7-Mar-09, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, I am building a NXT remote control program but atempt a problem. I am now success to reading sensors even ultrasonic(sonar) sensor. But I want to set the sonar to imperial(inch) unit or metric(Centimeter) unit. Or, want to know how to reading (...) (16 years ago, 7-Mar-09, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Robot C has the ability to display what's on the screen, also. You shouldn't need to use NeXtScreen (...) Look in the forums on NXTasy.com for an answer. People (including me) have found re soldering the surface mount caps on the back of the (...) (16 years ago, 6-Mar-09, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Unfortunately, my NXT screen died. I'm getting by with using the NeXTScreen utility to display on the laptop (very nice utility, BTW). However, I am using RobotC and the screen is a bit distorted, for example: (URL) still usable, but I was wondering (...) (16 years ago, 5-Mar-09, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
