Re: ARM Assembly Language Programming on NXT?

(...) Sorry, I found a more recent version, but it's still missing some parts on the ARM architecture: (URL) also found the following Intro guide (which is better than nothing): (URL) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

Re: ARM Assembly Language Programming on NXT?

Hi Juergen, Thanks for replying. (...) Thanks for the info. My goal is to run and debug ARM assembly language programs executing in RAM. I was not familiar with the NXT, so currently I'm looking at the on-board capabilities. I realized after some (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

  Re: Prime number generator

(...) SetUserDisplay hooks up the display to whatever source you specify and until you tell it to hook up to a different source it will continue to display the value of that source until the program ends.   (In)compatibility of RC Trains and Power-Functions

I am trying to determine whether there is any compatibility between the RC trains infrared remote-control protocol and the Power-Functions infrared-protocol. Does anybody know definitely whether a Power-Functions transmitter has any effect on an (...) (17 years ago, 14-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Re: ARM Assembly Language Programming on NXT?

Hi T.C., (...) I have an AT91SAM7S-EK here, it has 4 LEDs and 4 touch buttons. It should also be fairly easy to write a driver for one of the serial ports (polling would suffice for a start). On the NXT the only I/O that is easy to use with the (...) (17 years ago, 14-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

  Prime number generator

I've been trying to write a prime number generator in NQC by way of exercise to improve my programming skills, but I've run into some unexpected trouble. I have two sets of code that are virtually identical, one in NQC and the other in plain C. The (...) (17 years ago, 13-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Mindstorms NXT 1.1

(...) Thanks Matthias, I did read that discussion; but I hadn't realized the people who said they called actually received it for free.   Re: Mindstorms NXT 1.1

Thanks Philo, I should have thought to check nxtasy on the subject. Looks like there are a lot of improvements; but then again what interests me most is full support of my computer, which the current software doesn't provide. A patch, in short. On (...)   Re: Mindstorms NXT 1.1

There has been an according post on THE NXT STEP one week ago ((URL) a lot of comments of users there state that they have received it free of charge. I also do not understand why it is not available in Germany - that's ludicrous for an (...) (17 years ago, 10-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Power Functions presentation

(...) I did it, I'll try to update my page with some internal photos. (...)   Re: The Future of Trains

(...) You are right, the main limitation probably comes from wall wart... You are essentially right for the 0.7A current (though it is not hard limit, rather a safety one). Philo (17 years ago, 9-Oct-07, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.trains)

  Re: The Future of Trains

(...) The Australian LEGO wall wart is marked 10V @ 7VA on the secondary. I don't recall all the stuff I learnt about the relationship between VA and W, but that seems to me to indicate about 0.7A. I believe this generally reduces as load increases, (...) (17 years ago, 8-Oct-07, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.trains)
