(...) I think John Hansen actually made a pbForth terminal in NQC. My RCXTcl works on a PC, but I never did get around to packaging it for Macs. Probably because I don't have one myself :-) That being said, once you have a terminal program to talk (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Is there a usable version of pbForth for Mac OS X and the USB tower? I have NQC, so there should be no trouble downloading firmware, and Mac OS X has good terminal software, but how do I set up things so that terminal communication goes via the USB (...) Here's two things to try since you've only swapped out the VM hich I assume is a replacement for the "c_cmd.c" file. 1. First there is a "#define" that specifies the start address of the file system. If you're 10K larger you're going to need to (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

Hey, I'm new here, so if I seem like a n00b, it's probably because I am. Hopefully my question won't be too annoying. I'm trying to use the NXTGCC 0.0.9 package as a starting point for custom firmware. The main point of my custom firmware is to swap (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

I saw this and was reminded of Rafe's binary counter: (URL) a marble-powered binary adder. Rafe's counter could do this with a tiny bit of modification. He'd just have to add a tray at the top and bottom to temporarily store the input and output for (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)
