Hey all, Just wanted to let you in on a neat idea. I built a race robot for a contest, and my opponent built a robot that used three motors, one for each wheel it had. But it couldn't turn. (...) Ummmm yep, thats what I meant - the contract side is smaller so less force, but wouldn't that also mean it contracts faster because it needs less air? Just like the small cylinders expand/contract much faster than the big ones because of the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

I had a random thought regarding the new RIS 3.0. The hand over hand monkey on a string invention set has the new clear plastic enclosed parts - motor and gear boxes. My thought was, I wonder if these parts are components of the new RIS 3.0? Maybe (...) (22 years ago, 17-Aug-03, to lugnet.robotics)
