Is it true you need windows 98 to run it on? If so, is there anyway around this, coz I only have windows ME or red hat 6.2 linux (I'd rather use windows). Also, why does it cost $189 in the USA (about £120) and in the UK it costs £159 ? Is this lego (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

All the instructions on the UBS CD are jpegs and quicktime movs. This means that you can read them on a mac without using virtual PC, and if you have Quicktime Pro, you can join them all together as a slide show. The LEGO pieces you get with the Ultimate Builders Set are a nice addition to any collection. However, the software with all the instructions for all the models only runs on the PC. All the behaviors are completely possible with Robolab but without (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

(...) Saw this problem before. You might check older mails in this newsgroup discussing that. Running brickOS under Linux I don't know much about the cygwin problems.
