| Nice idea Peter !! I'll add it to my collection about the IR port of the RCX. At first I didnt see what your design could mean foe me, but .... This could be an alternative way to add "intelligent" sensors (for example through PIC or some other (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) What I meant when i said "unregulated" was a power supply without a 78xx in it. The power supply that I am using consists of a transformer, rectifier (4 diodes) and a 4700uf cap.
