So, I have the hardware and RCX software for my LIDAR station done. I have the host-PC side client software to display the data collected in real time. This was just discussed on lugnet.robotics.rcx. I have an rcx 2.0, and you can see what I did here: (URL) used a 7809 voltage regulator. Note that this requires some basic electronics and soldering skills. I would not use a wall wart, because the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)
