Robert, A company in Canada sells them at a reasonable price, HVW Technologies. My order got held up at the boarder for about a week, but they said that was a rare occasion and not the norm. Hi I have built the sound sensor in the Extreme Mindstorms book, and the basic operation appears to work fine. However when I have tried to use it in a full program which starts motors at the start of the program, the input is behaving as if it has (...) (24 years ago, 22-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) You ask for it, you get it. BUT: It works, sort of. It will not survive any multitasking problems. Shared memory has to be handled by the OS, not by a user program.
