  Re: Revieuw 2002 German cataloque

  Revieuw 2002 German cataloque

Hi guys, The catalogue looks like the one in 2001. Disappeared from the collection are Pooh Bear, Scala, Mickey, Artic, the little racers and the special re-released models. The just last autumn launched Duplo emergency station (2811) has been (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.reviews)

Set # 3408, Space Parts Pack

Well technically it has something to do with soccer, but about 95% of the parts are great for spaceships. I scored one today at Target for $15 on clearance, and highly recommend it. Lots of blue and grey slopes, three of the old classic space (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: [Review: Technic 8466 4x4]

(...) The 8466 suspension is still bouncy and pretty high riding over here. But mine's only been assembled for a week or two. The 8880 Supercar has exactly the opposite, it's my opinion the 8880 sits too high, and it has two shocks per wheel. Calum (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: [Review: Technic 8466 4x4]

I agree, this set really rocks! I was so excited when i just finished the chassis that i messed with it for a little bit, even before i finished the whole truck! I figured the chassis was the most exciting part of the whole truck, and the body (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: [Review: Technic 8466 4x4]

(...) Well, I'll write them regardless, I haven't bought a set in a while to keep as a model, so I guess I just don't write them anymore. That and the good sets seem to disappear very quickly. (...) I didn't mind them that much. The 8250 Search Sub (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.reviews)

  [Review: Technic 8466 4x4]

One thing I noticed is that no one ever uses the rtl Lego Set Review format anymore or even writes reviews. So here you go. If anyone wants to check it out, here's the link to the format: (URL) CUT HERE ---...--- 8466 Technic / Tech Build/Advanced (...)   7119 Cloud Car rocks!

This is the first Starwars set I've actually built as a set in... well, since the original sets came out. It's just so darn cute. And the parts you get are very tasty. What I like best is that many many of the parts are in the set in multiple (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.reviews)

Review of 4714 (Gringotts) + scans of new pieces

I finally was able to get this set at Wal-Mart. I took some pictures of the new elements in this set, as well as Hagrid's face (for kicks). (URL) Pawel (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Review of 4712: Troll on the Loose

(...) Yes! This would be great! A section with pictures of "new" pieces and maybe a section with "cool" or "hard to find" pieces. Other than that, I like the format as well! (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: Review of 4712: Troll on the Loose

(...) I like the format- very helpful. And I'm really looking forward to a review of the Blacksmith's shop. But a couple of suggestions: Set out the unique pieces and take a photo of them. I'm very curious to see the sink & faucet pieces as well as (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Review of 4704: The Chamber of the Winged Key

My thoughts on this set: (URL) still messing around with the format, so there will be some changes coming up, like a top ten list for castle sets, etc - something that's been long due :) -- Pawel (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.reviews)

And two more Alpha Team sets (4790 and 4792)

4790 AT DEEP SEA ROBOT DIVER $4.99, 32 pcs, 1 minifig (Charge) This set builds an interesting little industrial type walker. It is juniorized in that a piece which would appear to be a robot foot forms the basic body. This foot has two toes (which (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Review of some new Alpha Team sets (4791, 4793, 4797)

I picked up some of the new Alpha Team sets at Walmart this evening and just finished building them. 4791 AT SUB-SURFACE SCOOTER $6.94, 43 pcs, 1 minifig (Flex, dark blue torso and legs) This makes an interesting scooter (not so little, it's larger (...)   Review of 4712: Troll on the Loose

Since I got it at TRU, I put together a review of it: (URL) me know what you think could be added to the review format to allow the buyer to make a more informed decision. -- Pawel (23 years ago, 15-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Set Review #4796 Alpha Team/Mission Deep Sea/Ogel Mutant Squid

(...) Well, they did also change almost all of the outfits. I don't remember that happening before either. Or, maybe the box designer was overly creative? I'll have to see if I can find 4795 at the local Walmart. -L (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.reviews)
