  Re: Quickie of the 6086

(...) Funny, the other night I was looking at those isntructions and let's see, a little round seat-like thing on a plate covering a pit. It looks strangely like a medieval toilet. The funny thing is it looks like prisoners are supposed to be jailed (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.reviews)

  Quickie of the 6086

Got no time, but I'll make it to the point. <set:6086 Black Knight's Castle> Piece count: 569 Released: 1992 The pieces are pretty good to excellent. Gotta love the 4 inverse-slope corners in grey and the one in black; dragon plumes galore, (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: Toa and Turaga: 12 Bionicles in review

Re: Longer review of set 8532 Onua

(...) Ignore that- I just tried it, and it's one unit too wide. :( Now I have no idea why that ridge is there- does anyone know what it's for? (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Longer review of set 8532 Onua

<set:8532 Onua> 30 pieces, $9.98 (Canada) The Can Some improvements were made over the old RoboRider can. The information label slides off to reveal the display label- nice! The lid can be used as a mask display stand, and has some +-slots for (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: Toa and Turaga: 12 Bionicles in review

Chris, thanks for the reviews. I have all the Toa, but haven't touched the Turaga yet. Appreciate you taking the time to post your thoughts. (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Toa and Turaga: 12 Bionicles in review

Hey all, Jennifer Boger and I won all 6 Toa and all 6 Turaga at the Potomac Mills (I hope I spelled that right) Lego outlet store this past weekend. I expected terrible sets. But, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. These are *not* Technic as far (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Quickie 10000 Guarded Inn (a review as if there never had been a set #6067)

(...) My three red tudor elements were smudged and faint. (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.castle)

Re: Quickie 10000 Guarded Inn (a review as if there never had been a set #6067)

(...) Yup, I noticed that, and also the "fuzziness" of the other print. I'm guessing that they could not find the original camera ready artwork (or it had faded beyond useability) and they have done the next best thing, scanned the best available (...)
