...That's partly a byproduct of MPGs. The sound does not necessarily sync with
the video (depending on the client system (this is all IIRC, and YMMV)).

...The cam can be had for $50ish or so (tho not with the cool LEGO studs on it).
Its basically a Logitech QuickCam II or so and can be used with any ol software
that recognizes TWAIN devices.
...There are a few software packages out there that aren't so bad. I used to use
Axogon Composer (now MainVision at www.mainconcept.com). It costs $250 now
(offsetting the cam discount above :-/ (I knew I should have ordered it when it
was still Axogon Composer and was _much_ cheaper (like $45 :-/
...MainVision is _very_ powerful, and fairly easy to use, but _not_ kid
friendly. And while it has lots of extra bells and whistles, about the only
really handy trick is the ability to read in any jpg or gif file and to add
multiple sound tracks...
