I just happened to land across the LEGO Maniacs' guide ( (URL) ). I hadn't been there for at least a year or even two, which is a long time on internet timeframes... GDR :-) While it would have been nice if they had come up with some other way to do the Martians, I think they actually look decent. They really don't look that mechanical (any more (...) Here's some notes on the largest (?) LEGO set ever: 3450 Statue of Liberty. Like the 3723 Minifig Sculpture, the 3450 comes in a large white box with a small b&w photo of the statue, a planet earth with basic bricks revolving around it on the front (...) Just thought I'd drop in a few comments of my own, having grabbed a couple of Life on Mars sets from the local TRU. Cute. This set is so cute, and has so many cool pieces in cool colours -- I want 50. An entire army of Altairs. heh heh. This was a very fun set to construct, play with and look at.
