Re: Why does everyone hate Witche's Windship ( Mini-Review of 6037)

(...) snippage (...) snippage I agree absolutely. I have multiple copies. Some I bought for the equivalent of US$6 came with a Lego-supplied plastic parts carry container ! It may be the Willa the Witch fig or the slightly offbeat set idea that gets (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.reviews)

Why does everyone hate Witche's Windship ( Mini-Review of 6037)

I've seen no end of bad comments about this set, and I just can't understand why. I wouldn't say its a "great" set, but for a small set, it has a lot of great pieces, and I think the main model is kind of neat too. Given that you can pick it up for (...)   Mini-Review of Set 2161 - AquaDozer - Thumbs Up!

Hi, This set has been around for a long time, but you can get it for $14 or less now at KBKids.com. Primary Model: The primary model looks pretty cool. Its very streamlined with a trans-light-green dome on the top. Inside this zone, a small mini-sub (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(...) Yep. I know they showed up chrome in a few different sets. Well, OK, at least two, one of which is 2963. They look even weirder (i.e., more un-LEGO-ish) without the chrome. My kids have got one set of those, and I can't count the times I've (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(...) Heh. (...) Of the pieces in the set, only the exhaust pipes even seem exotic to me. In fact, that's why I bought it, to get a pair. Somehow I'd managed not to get them. There is something (to me) un-LEGO about them... they follow such a (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Re: Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(...) And the set has rotating wheels! Gosh, LEGO has only featured those since 1962. ;) Actually, I don't think this set includes any new pieces--the minifig, the antenna, the spoiler, the wheels, the windshield, the exhaust pipes-- these pieces (...)   Review of #4533 Train Track Snow Remover

Hi I got the 4533 at the new LEGO Imagination Center in Chicago, along with 5 promotional bricks(maybe I'll scan it on BrickShelf) and the #4541 Road-and-Rail Repair Truck. The set took very little time to build, but was actually a very clever (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(...) Well, since one of the "non-LEGO" things they refer to is the MINIFIG, one wonders how long it's actually beem since the reviewer played with LEGO. eric (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(URL) the Extreme Racer, the folks at LEGO have taken their idea of classic interlocking building blocks to the, uh, extreme. The components of this scale-model, off-road buggy are definitely not like the old LEGOs. There are rubber tires, rotating (...)   Re: A more detailed review of Lego Studios

This is true, however, I have had problems with this, namely: 1. It is a little hard to "split" the clip at the right place. You must drag to the exact place and make sure you are in the right frame position, instead of, for example, just clicking (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: A more detailed review of Lego Studios

(...) I agree, clip splitting is VERY important. But it's a clunky way of editing out a bad frame in single capture mode. A delete last frame would have been nice. Or to let you delete anyone one in your capture list. Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)

A more detailed review of Lego Studios

Hello everyone, This past weekend I picked up Lego Studios here in the US for $180 USD. After playing with it for a while, I can now give a pretty detailed review. First, what you get: 1.
