I felt *EXACTLY* the same way about this set! If you read back a few months I
reviewed it myself and said that I thought it sucked which generated a great
number of comments from people who liked it because it was accurate as far as
the movie was concerned ( moveable cannons etc.) I agree that the parts
content was good for a $15 kit but it was not nearly as "cool" as the
snowspeeder or the X-wing. I am glad that someone else shares my opinion.

personally I think the snowspeeder was the neatest of the SW models but it is
ONLY my opinion.

This is actually quite a "mee to post", but besides the "not so cool" A-Wing, I should mention that the B-Wing is the most cheated SW starship up to date. Parts are cool in both sets of course, but I didn't sense the amazing feeling of holding a (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.reviews)

I'm very dissappointed with this set. Building the X-wing, snowspeeder, Y-wing, TIE-fighter and the speeder bikes was lots of fun, and the sets was fun to play with. But the A-wing was boring to build and you really can't do much with it. It follows (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.reviews)
