Not having seen the aqua-set with the same loading scoop mechanism it was new to me and I think it works well, especially for younger kids. The canopy hinges on mine did not pop (...) Once I tried it, it doesn't work as well as it might because the wide town boat bows (as in River Expedition etc) are vertical from the waterline when they merge into the side of the hull, whereas the Loader Dozer cockpit has an inverted slope (...)
