Found this at my local consignment shop for $10 off the MSRP. Great set for
a color purist since there's very little blay present. A great selection of
light and dark blue, including the first 1xN beams I've seen in dark blue,
hooray!
I'm glad this set was a parts buy, because the vehicle in either mode is not
that sturdy or aesthetically appealling. It's basically a much large
version of #4742 Chill Speeder. However, the transformation process in
clunky due to the rather haphazard mounting of the big white spring-powered
cannon. It's not fixed, so it tends to flop around when you're trying to
"transform" it. I don't understand why the cannon isn't mounted in a fixed
position since it doesn't need to move for the transformation.
Oh well! The parts selection is great, so if you can pick some up at a
discount, it's a great buy for the new blue colors and a good selection of
the new ball-and-socket click-hinge joints.
