Well I got a S@H gift certificate hand had a little left at the end of placing my order so I added 7235 Police Motorcycle to the order (which set a record in that it arrived less than 24 hours after placing it on the 27th. | | Racer 8644 considered cool (and $3+)

Yellow sporty racer 8644 is the coolest Lego set lately. Sure it has a lot of new-fangled pieces. But how the grill meets up with the wheel covers without attaching, that is sweet. The new thin tires with no Lego precedent: it is about time we had (...) (20 years ago, 22-Dec-04, to lugnet.reviews)

SNIP I got the same set, & though i wish the wall pieces were like the classic castle wall pieces, i'd say it's a decent set with good playability. when i built it i remembered this set: (URL) 6062 Battering Ram> & realized that this could be (...) | | Knight's co-pack $30 TRU special
TRU has a $30 co-pack of Knight's Castle Wall and Vladek's Siege Engine ($20 ea. at S@H). I got that "Ooh, new Lego set" feeling and bought one. Some thoughts on the castle wall... Did Lego think modular castle wall? Close but no banana. Have to try (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.castle)

Just noticed, that there are two versions of set 7075; I bought a second set, labeled "limited edition" (same price), which included motor AND battery; when mounted, this acts as counter-weight and makes the ship float reasonably. Disclaimer: this is my first review, so I'm not familiar with what a review _should_ look like. Anyways, here it goes: Set 10159 - City Airport is a re-release of set 6597. This means it is from a time when you could actually build a city with (...) (20 years ago, 23-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews)

Well, I've waited some months, but finally this ship was on deep discount. First: it IS a JacStone set, so as expected, there are ugly figs and lots of big pieces. 444 pieces, $50 US retail or $70 Canadian. The candy shop is sweet, but, in my opinion, should have been put in a separate set on its own.
