Re: New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

(...) I, too, lament the loss of legs. Nary a moldy old skeleton for us. :( (21 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

Re: New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

Re: New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

(...) I think the biggest complaint that people will have about these is that there are no sand-green skeleton legs. You get the skeleton torso and arms, and a sand-green head (or you can use Frankie's, if you want eyes), but no sand-green skeleton (...)   Re: New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

(...) Hey Brad, thanks for the review. I'm looking forward to getting this set. Do you have the origninal Hogwarts? I'm wondering how they look if you put them together. (...) That sounds good. My main concern with the new grays is the difficulty of (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

Re: New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

My impression is that the 2004 sets have improved architecture: between Harry Potter and Spider-man there are much better looking, less juniorized buildings this year. At least, there is more ornament. There's the laid-on plate roof of the castle, (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle, lugnet.year.2004)

Re: New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

(...) STOP IT! You are making me want this set even more and the fact that I have run out of lego money (money set aside just for buying lego) for now is making me sad :-( (21 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

New Harry Potter Castle Review - 4757

Item#: 4757 Hogwart's Castle Ages: 8+ Pieces: 927 I picked up 2 copies of the newest HP castle set a few days ago and I'm quite impressed by it.   Re: new Designer sets

(...) Ah... ok. Gotcha. I guess I thought of them as exotic slopes or something... didn't really think of them as decoractive. But I do agree with you. It would have been nice if perhaps those four had been replaced by some combination of more (...) (21 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.reviews)

  Re: new Designer sets

(...) I'm thinking of the big curved pieces that have been appearing in the sets lately. For example the four beside the rotor mount on 4403, or the big long piece down the top of the tail. (21 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.reviews)
