| | 10024 Red Baron

Just got a Red Baron in the mail today! It's a great set, much better than the Sopwith Camel. It's quite a bit stronger, the bottom is filled in to a greater degree, and it has far more moving parts and other details. The rudder turns, the wing and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.reviews)

(...) Hmm, I find the 1x2 and 2x2 bricks with one axle peg handy. They make modular constructions a little easier than using Technic bricks and pins since the pin always stays with the same brick. Also, the pin is the same color as the brick which (...) (22 years ago, 26-May-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2002)

(...) I know some people hate 1x2x5 (does Tim C. hate it as much as the 2x4x3?) but I've come to think of these as vertical 2x6 bricks. (...) Okay, maybe I'm the only one around who didn't find this set a deal, even at $24.88.
