Several reasons: - a normal head doesn't have a rod hole - the rod hole in the pen pieces is rod diameter the whole thickness of the brick, which makes for a sturdier pen - the pen pieces are not exactly LEGO dimensions (which I actually think (...) I got my first pen a little over a week ago, and I just received two more today. These pens are neat. The pens come with a bunch of elements which aren't exactly normal LEGO brick size, but do have a stud on top, and fit on top of a stud. They also (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)
