I use lots of mirrors and a couple of fill lights (one 500Watt-Halogen L-Bracket work light, one 100Watt-Halogen Mini-version of (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.publish.photography)

I'm planning on finally taking some decent pictures of my newly remodeled city and could use some help. Every once in a while people mention their 3-point lighting setup. Can anyone give any pointers in terms of optimal placement of lights, wattage, (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.publish.photography)

I need some help. I have a Coolpix 880 and would like to try making a movie of my trains, but I have no experience, just stills. If anyone tried it using the 880 could you give me some do's and don'ts. Oh, I'm using a 32MB card if that's any help? (...)
