A quote:
""Blast from the Past"
This is the first building plan in a series from the Lego Technic Archives.
In this new regular feature we will bring you building
instructions from years gone by to expand your collection.
In this issue, we look at the 8210 GTX 500, which first appeared
on the scene way back in 1995...<snip>.......The model was
originally in sporty red, but we've redesigned it in sizzling
yellow to give it even more zing!"
Interesting! Even though it features a few '99 sets in the
mag, a return to "classic" models, albeit small ones, is an
interesting development! Recognition of the superiority of
the earlier models?
Another feature is a building contest, "The Great Lego Technic
Sci-Fi Comptetition!" Space Station Millennium is the overall
concept, the design schema fall into 3 categories, a rescue
vehicle, reconnaissance vehicle, and a defence vehicle. Prize
is MIS and the 2 expansion sets. Interesting in that there was
recently an RTL-sponsored space station-themed design contest!
The magazine also came with a Slizer-themed postcard. I would
scan it, but it isn't particularly interesting.....
There are 8 more pages of the Commotions Catalogue Dacta pages
on my site, more will be done when I have the time.
