  Re: Super Outfitted Dino Transport....thing

(...) There is value to having you BrickShelf folders linked from your web page, so you may want to still keep the links there, just post the BrickShelf link for "instant access", along with your web page link for "see all the rest of my stuff".   Ikros Teaser Wallpaper

It's a teaser! It's a desktop wallpaper! It's both! It's also 800x600. Have fun. (URL) submit it for the LDraw SOTM, but then I think, nah, I've already won for each of these models for the MOTM. --Anthony (URL) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

Re: Newish Idea for LUGNET [was Re: TLC sends people to www.brickself.com]

(...) Right, it's not a product. It's a CD set of official source imagery for a year's products. I don't know what the official deal is with it. They seem like a fairly standard art-department archive for internal distribution. I believe they're (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.publish)

Re: Looking for good freeware image alteration program

I use a Windows version on Windows 2000, not sure if it works on other versions. The Web page indicates that there is a version for Win 95/98 too. I have used it mostly for making thumbnails, but the package has a large number of other functions (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Again having problems on Brickshelf

I have my password and user name right, I set my security settings on the lowest possible. My internet options "accept cookies" was on. I am using IE6 with W2000 Pro. I use Verizon DSL. All my other password sites work but this one. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: suggestion to try Brickshelf.com not the IP address

Kevin, I was having problems similar to this, too. I use IE 6.0, so I don't know if this applies to the original poster. I have an exemption set in IE to accept cookies from Brickshelf.com. I can log into www.brickshelf.com with no problems. If I (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Again having problems on Brickshelf

(...) Are you *sure* that you got the username and password right? Brickshelf has an annoying habit of not telling you that you've entered that info wrong; it just takes you to the folder but doesn't give you the commands, which is exactly what you (...)   Re: Again having problems on Brickshelf

If your computer takes cookies from Art Bell, then there shouldn't be any problem with Brickshelf :) Seriously, I would like to nail this cookie problem for good. What OS, browser version and ISP works, and which combination does not work? KL (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: New BrickDreams Site - 7 New Scenes

(...) I model and render all of the scenes in Bryce (v4 for the old scenes, v5 for the new ones). Bump maps and texture images (like the LEGO signage on the stud faces and the box graphics in scene 4) were made in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and imported to (...)   Re: Again having problems on Brickshelf

I don't think -anything- happened. If I set my security settings lower will that help? It is already accepting cookies from other sites like Art Bell and the like that have password logins. It is not like last time where I would hit the login and I (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)

New BrickDreams Site - 7 New Scenes

The new BrickDreams site is up. Nothing fancy, I just streamlined the site by removing the splash page and bringing the scene index right up front. I also discontinued 9 of the old scenes, for one reason or another. In their place are 7 new scenes, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.publish)

Re: Again having problems on Brickshelf

Your computer is not saving the cookie that keeps you logged in. When you log in, does the "login" link change to "logout"? If so, and it changes back after you click anything else, you diddn't get/save the cookie. This is a problem with your (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Advertise on Brickshelf

Well, look at it on the good side! At least Brickshelf *chooses* the advertisements, instead of the other way around. That way, companies peddling services and products of "questionable" value will mostly be absent from the site. (which will (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish)
