I say keep the images in the same window. If someone wants a new window, they can hold shift while clicking the link (in IE 6 at least). Descions like that should be made by the viewer, not the coder, IMO. Personally, I don't really like the flash (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.publish.html)

Tony, I have a piece of Javascript where you can provide it the name of the image and it pops open the window for you. Included on the window is a close button. I could modify the script so that you could provide it the next and previous images and (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.publish.html)

I don't think I have the patience to code a page for each image :( Especially since Paul needs more pics :) I still have to praise Sun for his patience though. Instantaneous? Heck Ya! I hate waiting for pics to load, too impatient! I am glad to here that it loads fast. I'm still trickling through with a 28.8 connection, and I think it loads pretty fast, especially after you have the animation cached! (...) Ah yes the intro flash has been corrected. I forgot to put a stop action at the end and to goto url command takes a few frames, so that is why the repeat occured. This looks incredible Tony. Not only is the Flash beautiful, but it compliments the site rather than overpowering it. The presentation is clean and pro, the navigation easy, and of course the content rocks as always. Viewing it on XPpro thru a 56.6k (...) Dude your site is so frick'n cool I can't beleive it! Quick run down: Entrance page: Frigg'n cool as heck! Only thing, I noticed, the Flash trys to repeat right about the same time the page redirect is taking place. So it seems like some more Flash (...) Snow Clan Master! I reconsidered the layout as well as the advice from you and Bram. I removed the Halo Orbit on the cursor, and I reduced the shake speed. I reviewed the script and cut it down to a minimum. The novelty wore off and I think its (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.publish)

It works fine with my browser (i.e.) Eric. It's amusing, but I feel I must agree with Bram. Live with it for a week and loose it. Remember the horrors of the <blink> tag. Use stuff like that extremely sparingly. And I like my cursor, leave it alone. (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.publish)
