Re: [PRESS RELEASE] INTRODUCING BRICKST MAGAZINE - THE LEGO® FAN MAGAZINE.

(...) What he said :-) When I was at LEGOWORLD, I got such an overwhelmingly positive response to the idea of a fan magazine I couldn't see NOT sending this to the Netherlands. Please bear with us as we determine the best way to distribute the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

Re: [PRESS RELEASE] INTRODUCING BRICKS™ MAGAZINE - THE LEGO® FAN MAGAZINE.

Very cool. I'm looking forward to subscribing. A few questions: 1. What will be the attitude of the magazine towards clone brands--completely ignore them? mention them only disparagingly? equally review other brand sets? 2. How will you be finding (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

Re: [PRESS RELEASE] INTRODUCING BRICKS™ MAGAZINE - THE LEGO® FAN MAGAZINE.

(...) Matt, Might I suggest you posting a PDF version of the preview issue for our friends overseas. At least they will have a chance to see what they can get. My $.02, Jude (23 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: need camera advice.

(...) I was just about to say that. Saying that anything less than a 3MP camera and you won't be happy with the quality is a little absurd. Considering that most people will post at maximum 1Kx7 images which are sub 1MP. However...it's not just the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish.photography)

Re: [PRESS RELEASE] INTRODUCING BRICKST MAGAZINE - THE LEGO® FAN MAGAZINE.

I can understand that perhaps that you don't want to be spending out on shipping the preview copy overseas, but Matthew, will the rest of the world be able to subscribe, albeit at a higher rate to reflect higher postage charges? Huw (23 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

Re: [PRESS RELEASE] INTRODUCING BRICKS? MAGAZINE - THE LEGO® FAN MAGAZINE.

I'll be interested in seeing how this is presented to the non-LUGNET member via retail outlets, since the general LEGO public is going to be the key to it's success. Sounds exciting. jt (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

Thanx for your help and info I'm not buying any thing right now because my dad just got a SC3300 SiPix it has 3.3 Mega pixel and also came with some software. Thanx once more for your help and time. --Kevin W. § (23 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: need camera advice.

(...) Those features sound similar to what I have (a several year old Olympus) and I'm perfectly happy with it. Even 1.3 megapixels (1280x1024) is more than you need for photographing LEGO models. 640x480 is about the right resolution for publishing (...)
