Hi all,

Just a quick troll for comments:

Very nice. Although I'm not sure about the look of the windscreen. I
would expect the glass to be vertical. I think there's an older 2x4
windscreen part which doesn't slope; it would be ideal.

I don't have any of those(!!).  I do, however, have a Classic 1x4x2
window...and I've experimented with the 1x4x2 airplane-window panels (but
those are getting hard to come by, and they don't look quite..."right."

On the other hand, a tan 4x4 or 6x6 plate, with a couple of antennae to
simulate support rods at the back corners, would make a nice awning for the
boat...hmmm.

Some comments on this page: Some of the dockyard pics are really
atmospheric. Not really being into battleships myself, I was a bit lost
with the abbreviations like HG & such. I didn't have a good look round,
do you have a glossary anywhere?

Good idea--I put the page up originally just as a "stopgap" but it's
becoming the seed of a more permanent structure.  HG = Heavy Guns.  These
are standard "modern naval engineer" abbreviations, so I have plenty of
good glossaries to comb.

best

Lindsay
