Nice. I'm a big fan of minor modifications of stock sets.
My Red Seas Barracuda is mostly a re-coloration of the Black Seas Barracuda,
though it does have some changes (relocated masts, more gun ports, slight
differences in the windows, and a couple other changes).
I've built more than 20 copies of the cutter from the Imperial Trading Post
in different color schemes. Minor modifications include use of a 6x10 plate
instead of a 4x6 + 6x6 and an extra pair of 1x2 inverse slopes on the sides.
Other modifications deal with parts availability.
Just this past weekend I built 5 alternate color Emperor's Ships, though
last summer I had built an inverse one (red on black instead of black on
red). Sadly the color palette for these is smaller due to the need for 1x2x3
inverse extreme slopes (limiting to white, red, black, yellow, grey, and tan
for the bottom color).

| The Serpent is a merchant ship, although for the pictures, I just put a few random minifigures on it. It is basically the Emperor's ship or whatever from the Adventure line, but a few tiny changes that I made so that I like it better. (URL) smallest (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates)
