|
| Hi Daniel, (...) The large ship (set 7075) contains a big element (as big as a BURP) which has one or two windows in it. But it's not to tell from the picture whether this window is an extra piece or not. BTW: I would estimate the large hull (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.year.2004, lugnet.pirates)

| Hi Andrzej, (...) Since I own the latest german dealer's catalog, I can tell you that for certain: Pirates are Jack-Stone-scaled in 2004. Sets are with many large elements, but also with a few very nice parts (new pirate flags, maps on 4x4-tiles, (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.general)
| | | | 2004 Pirates .... Creator/Jack Stone figures?
|
| There's some discussion about 2004 sets here: (URL) ran it through Babelfish.altavista.com and was dismayed that the author appears to indicate that the new Pirate sets will have Creator-style figures (Jack-Stone-like scale and design). Can someone (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.year.2004)

Patrick O'Brian fans will be pleased by the anal-retentive accuracy that the movie tried for - the movie, like the books, is more (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates)

| (...) That's the first thing I tried when I built the ship, but I didn't like the look of it being just horizontal. I like the angle from the hinge, even if the hinge makes it a bit tall for a forecastle. Thanks, Peter (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

| (...) Neat little ship! If I may, I'd suggest trying a jumper on the front two studs with a...what do you call it... U-clip? Much like you would do for a Cutter. Here's a picture of what I mean; apologies to Jason Mantor. (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

| (...) Thanks. (...) With the 1x2 jumper plate, it just juts out too far in front if it's on the front studs. I liked the look better this way. However, I should probably put a 1x2 plate between the hinge and the jumper to put it a bit closer to the (...) On my shortened BSB, I've got more string left, so it's looped around the outside lamp brackets and attached back onto itself (below the boom) with a rolling hitch. And tensioned (...)
