Too long have the waters of the South Pacific been dominated by empires with
no sense of style, and dodgy food.

Too long have the waters of the South Pacific been dominated by the
oppressive redcoats and greencoats.

At last there is a settlement in the South Pacific that can boast style,
good food, the best bread this side of Indochine and, of course, outrageous
accents.

That settlement is Port Brique. Check it out at:

Fantastique!  Its about time we had another worthy base in the south
Pacific.  Tres good!  Looking forward to establishing cordial relations...

Glad you approve!

The replacement brig, Madame Thenardier, left the Port Brique Shipyard last
night for it's maiden voyage, gleaming in black and red (even the ratlines
are black!). With Capitaine Jean Thundier, in command it's a worthy
successor to the brig Eponine, until the Frigate Eponine II arrives on the
scene...

Naturally, the Port Brique shipbuilders are heavily influenced by those at
Port Block.

I think that should be spelled 'Port Bloc'. I'll send the Frigate down the
coast to help you out with the spelling....

Which is, of course, a site highly inspirational to Port Brique!

(...) Hmm, in that case, I presume my all-female crewed pirate ship "The Wobbegong" should be based at Port Briquette, also somewhere in the South Pacific! Kerry (22 years ago, 22-Jul-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.pirates)
